Ventilation

Ventisense

Ventisense is a homecare mechanical ventilator that artificially maintains respiratory function for patients whose lungs cannot. Three models cover the range from pediatric to adult care, in one 2.8 kg platform with up to 100% oxygen delivery, an ultrasonic O₂ sensor and ten ventilation modes.

Features

High-FiO₂ performance

Patented oxygen path delivers up to 100% oxygen with optimal utilization — maximum saturation with less waste of the oxygen source.

Ultrasonic O₂ sensor

Measures oxygen with high precision using ultrasonic technology, with a 10-year life and no cell to replace.

Down to newborns

A minimum 50 ml tidal volume adapts to pediatric physiology, making safe support possible even for the smallest patients.

With you anywhere

At 2.8 kg with ~8 hours of battery and dual vertical/horizontal use, Ventisense moves with the patient — chair, pole or bedside.

Fast, precise core

A 480 MHz microcontroller and precision digital sensors drive an efficient algorithm, with auto setting-change on alarm conditions.

See every breath

Pressure, flow and volume waveforms with 39 monitoring parameters on fully customizable screens, in eight languages.

Indications

Who it is for

Indicated for adult and pediatric patients weighing more than 5 kg with a tidal volume of 50 ml and above, in home treatment. Conditions managed include COPD, neuromuscular disease, obesity-hypoventilation, restrictive disorders and other causes of chronic respiratory insufficiency.

Ventilation modes

Ten ventilation modes

From fully controlled (PCV, VCV) through assisted and SIMV to spontaneous support (PSV, BiLEVEL, CPAP) and high-flow oxygen — explained mode by mode.
